Tenant Offer and Charges
FW Estate agents aims to make letting a property as easy and straightforward as possible by providing you with all the information you need to make your move a pleasurable experience.
When you register with us we will obtain all your information and once registered we will arrange viewings for you and send you videos for an initial inspection.
Once you have found a property we will advise you of the charges and provide you with a Tenancy Proposal Statement. This will set out the process and any fees or charges payable prior to signing the tenancy agreement, including the first month’s rent and security deposit.
Putting Forward Your Offer
Holding Charge:
Once you have found a property, you will be required to pay an initial holding charge calculated at 1 weeks rent for application. The property will stay on the market until this has been received. You agree that the holding deposit will be put towards the first months’ rent. FW estate agents will retain the holding charge If you pull out of renting the property, fail a right to rent check, provide false or misleading statements and If you have been unable to exchange signed contracts within 15 calendar days of taking a holding deposit due to you not being able to sign contracts. The 15 calendar days can be extended by any period, provided you have mutual written agreement from yourself and the landlord

At the end of a tenancy, we can assist you with tenancy renewals to renegotiate rental terms or an increased rent based on market conditions. Or if the tenant leaves the property, it will need to be assessed for cleanliness and damages. Where we manage your property, this will form part of your service.
